From the past . . .
Taken during my first winter in Fairbanks when I worked at Eielson AFB as a Heavy Laborer (gandy dancer). The beard was a different color but not much else has changed. When I found myself cleaning ice out of railroad crossings at 40 below zero I decided to go to college. Best decision I ever made.

This was taken a few years ago in Utah. Yes, for a number of years I actually shaved. Colette often attends conferences with me when we can find a good pet sitter. We're picky about who takes care of our fuzzy kids.
My lovely daughter, Sarah, lives in Portland, OR with her husband, Dean, where they both practice and teach healthy life styles.
My accomplished son, Danford, lives in Columbia, MO with his cat Thumbtack and a number of friends. I am very proud of both of my kids.
